The Mahala Supporters began in Ashtown – Abeys Park, Kumasi, Ashanti Region, the same neighbourhood where our founder Kwadwo Poku Mahala and every member of his joint board were born and raised.
Growing up in Abeys Park, the board wanted to give love back to the community that shaped them. That love created Mahala Football Academy, and from the academy rose the mighty Mahala Supporters, first across the entire Ashtown community and now well beyond it.
Our reach is thanks to Kwadwo Poku Mahala, a national asset and an Asante Kotoko legend whose name brings people together wherever football is loved.
