The 2023 Ashanti Region Division Two Promotional tournament is heading to it’s third fixture as, the question of who makes it to next season’s National Division One League remains unanswerable.

The tournament which commenced Friday, April 28, 2023 has seen each team play two matches already.

Eight teams qualified for the Promotional tournament after topping their various zones alongside best-runner up. The teams were drawn in Group of two, four each having Mahala Football Academy placed in Group B.

Having played two matches already the table looks tricky in Group B as all four teams have won one game each and lost one each. Meaning, next fixture will be a crunchy encounter for all.

The dynamics, is that two teams would have to succumb to defeat and bow out of the race.

Meanwhile, Mahala Football Academy will battle it out with KSI Academicals on Wednesday morning at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as we seek for a grandfinale spot.
