Head coach Emmanuel Nkrumah says he had a successful week of training sessions with the playing body with the exception of skipper Prince Osei ahead of this weekend’s game against Afigya Barcelona.
There are no much injury situations in camp, going into this weekend game.
The 2022-23 Ashanti Regional Division Two League match-week 12 will happen at the Wesco Park on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at exactly 1:00 P.M. without Prince Osei.
The captain of the side who doubles as center-back had injury concerns weeks ago and has not featured in a game yet upon the resumption of second round. He suffered an ankle injury and will not be part of the team, for the next two weeks.
Osei is expected to start recovering training coming week, according to the medical team.
Though, the skipper’s absent has taken some portion of the team away as observed in our previous matches including his leadership role but the manager doesn’t believe this time around is likely to change his game plan.
Prince Osei has two goals and an assist this season.
Morale bolster for the team is the return of midfielder Awudu Mohammed. The combative and workaholic midfielder was suspended in our last game but he’s eligible to play this week.
According to boss Nkrumah, spirit in camp ahead of this game is massive as the playing body have assured the technical team of victory.
