Mahala Football Academy celebrated Valentine’s Day in style with a hard-fought
1–0 victory over Longford SC in an exciting Division Two Zone 3 encounter.
The boys showed discipline, control and determination from start to finish to secure all three points.

The decisive moment came in the 26th minute when
Richard Nkrumah calmly finished a brilliant move assisted by
Richard Owusu Ansah, sending the Mahala supporters into celebration.

Mahala FA now sit on 20 points in 5th position. The group remains very competitive and tough,
but the team stays confident and hopeful of qualification as the second round continues.

Akwasi Opoku delivered another outstanding performance and deservedly earned the
Player of the Match (MVP). This marks his third MVP award in just five matches
since his registration — a remarkable achievement.

The match also featured the debut of #22 Joseph Antwi, a loan player from
Hohoe United, who came on in the 61st minute. His energy and confidence thrilled the fans,
making him an exciting player to watch for the future.
