Road to the Middle League: Can Mahala FA Secure a Spot?

As the Ashanti Regional Division Two League reaches Match Week 15, the race for qualification into the prestigious ARFA Middle League is heating up across all six zones.

For Mahala Football Academy, the dream remains alive. With only a few matches left in the 2025/26 campaign, every point collected could be decisive in the fight for a place among the region’s elite eight teams.

How Teams Qualify for the Middle League

1️⃣ Zone League
Teams compete in six different zones across the Ashanti Region. The team finishing first in each zone qualifies automatically.

2️⃣ Middle League
The six zone winners join two additional teams who finish as the best runners-up across all zones. These eight teams compete in the ARFA Middle League playoff.

3️⃣ Promotion
The winner of the Middle League becomes the Ashanti Region champion and earns promotion to the Division One League (DOL).
