The Ashanti Regional Football Association (ARFA) led by Osei Tutu ‘Kotoro’ has confirmed date and venue for the 2022-23 Ashanti Regional Division Two Promotional tournament after weeks of successful campaign. On Thursday, the road for who qualifies for the Middle League (Promotional tournament) got completed.

In all, eight(8) teams sealed their way through with Promotional tournament ticket, where a slot for National Division One League is at stake.

Seven teams that are winners of their respective zones qualified for this stage, adding second best placed team thus Mahala Football Academy to the list making it eight. Qualified teams are; Royal Kumapem, Konongo First Klass FC, Pro Players Academy, Offinso PAC Academy, Benab FC, Kumasi Academicals, Jachie United and Mahala Football Academy.

The teams have been divided into two groups with each team expected to play 3 matches. Group leaders/winners at the end of the matches would play in the final game for the Division One ticket.

The authorities have scheduled for the commencememnt of tournament on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with the final day fixed for Saturday, May 06, 2023.

Meanwhile, game fixtures will be announced on Tuesday at a one-day seminar scheduled for the Regional Football Association Secretariat.
