This Sunday, Mahala Football Academy will play Group 4 league leaders PAC Academy in an away fixture of the 2022-23 Ashanti Regional Division Two League.
After drawing goalless in the first leg played in January, we would have to annex victory to close the gap between the top two teams. PAC Academy seems tearing away on the summit but Mahala Football Academy can not afford to drop points this weekend’s though is an away disadvantage.
The run away zone leaders are looking forward to win against Mahala for the first time.
They have showed that they are a very solid side indeed, and a standout performance will be required if the Academy lads are to progress to the middle league for an unprecedented first year in the division.
They come into the game with brilliant second round performance going four games unbeaten. Unlike, Mahala Football Academy who failed to win their last fixture against Longford FC by a narrow 1-0 defeat.
We recorded back-to-back wins before our lost to Longford FC last weekend’s.
Currently, with one outstanding match to play Mahala Football Academy are 3rd on the league table with 22 points just four points behind Longford FC and six points adrift PAC Academy who sit top.
Mahala Football Academy hope for a better performance on Sunday as game kick-off 1:00 PM at Wesco Park in Kumasi.
