Mahala FA Secure 2–1 Victory Over Division 1 Side Future Stars in Friendly Clash

On Sunday, 17th August 2025 at 3:00 PM, Mahala Football Academy (Division 2), while continuing their preparations for the upcoming league season, secured a thrilling 2–1 victory against Division 1 side Future Stars in a friendly encounter.

Future Stars struck first, taking the lead in the first half. Mahala FA responded strongly, and soon after, Ahmed Aameen leveled the score with a fine header from a free-kick.

In the second half, Mahala FA were awarded a penalty. Sadat Desmond, an U19 player already gaining valuable experience, stepped up with confidence and calmly converted from the spot — securing the decisive goal to give Mahala FA a 2–1 win.

This result highlights Mahala FA’s growing strength as they gear up for the Division 2 league season, proving they can compete strongly even against higher-tier opposition.
