Sporting Time vs Mahala Football Academy- PREVIEW

The Ashanti Regional Division Two League competition continues on Sunday against Sporting Time as Mahala Football Academy aim for victory.

The competition went on two weeks break following a successful first round and resumes this weekend with clash against difficult side Sporting Time setting the tone.

Mahala Football Academy maiden campaign in the country’s third-tier league has been a mix feeling and uncertain performance having picked just two wins and four draws.

We go again, but this time around against an opponent who denied as a win in our week 9 fixture with scores settling at 1-1 at the Wesco Park.

Both teams have met once, with both conceding at full Time.

Justice Asamoah rescued Mahala Football Academy from a defeat after Sporting Time took the lead few minutes into the second half.

Notable players expected to return to match day squad will be Prince Osei and Justice Asamoah.

Center-back Osei who doubles as captain for the side sustained an injury which saw him miss two league games in the first round. He is back after completing full training session with the team throughout the week.

Justice Asamoah also felt shape pains in his foot during our last game game against Sporting Time but manage to pass the fitness test and is available for selection on Sunday should the technical team request for him.

Osman Salifu, Awudu Mohammed, Isaac Asumadu, Kofi Agyemang and Elija Opoku are all available for the must win encounter.

Game will kickoff at exactly 3:00 PM on Sunday at the Wesco Park in Kumasi.
