2022/23 Ashanti Regional Division Two League: Mahala Football Academy starts campaign with clash against Centurio Life Sunday

Mahala Football Academy will seek to struck for their first victory of the 2022-23 Ashanti Regional Football Division Two League when they play guest to Centurio Life in the league opener on Sunday, December 11, 2022.

The Ash-Town based outfit are making their maiden edition in the Ghanaian third-tier league after acquiring ticket from Division Three last season. We will battle the Centurio Life in a titanic clash, seeking for first three points for a better campaign.

Coach Emmanuel Nkrumah has been trimming the rough edges during the off days, thus pre-season.

The Division Three Champions are back at it again to ambush the third-tier with an enigmatic display to harvest positive results.

The script is well known after Mahala Football Academy made record by spending a short time in the wilderness and arriving in Division Two.

Mahala Football Academy will be eager for the maximum points to commence the season on a good note. The stakes are high for Emmanuel Nkrumah and his technical team along with his charges who are determined to write boldly and clearly on the wall for the rest of the clubs in our zone.

Encounter is scheduled for Sunday, 3:00 pm local time at Wesco Park.

Striker Asamoah Isaac is likely to secure a starting berth and could partner Owusu Agyemang Stephen in attack. 

Defender Darko Afriyie Kelvin having proved to be a reliable pillar at the backline, is expected to have his first start of the season.

The gaffer will keep faith in enterprising Goalkeeper Gyebi Richard and captain Osei Prince.

Notable absentees

Midfielder Osei Ameyaw is out injured and will be missing from the squad. Addai Robben joins him in the stands, also with injury.
