Following a successful maiden campaign in the 2022-23 Ashanti Regional Division Two League, management of Mahala Football Academy has opted to offer opportunity to players who want to pursue Football as career and hope to become better players in future.
Mahala Football Academy had a fruitful and unprecedented football campaign in Ghana’s third-tier league managed by the Regional Football Association’s. We made our first-ever appearance in the Division Two League and made a remarkable mark by qualifying from the Zone to play in the finals of the Promotional tournament which saw one team qualify to the National Division One League.
The side which lost to PAC Academy in the final is bent on unearthing and nurturing talent, asuch slated justify your inclusion for young players.
The 3-day exercise is scheduled for Kumasi Konadu Yiadom Park located in Ash-Town from July 5-7, 2023.
Players with the age bracket of 16-18 have being asked to join and do not make this opportunity pass-by.

Background
Mahala Football Academy is a Ghanaian club trading its mark in the country’s third-tier league (Division Two). It was established in 2020 December and made it first league appearance in 2021 when they secured the go ahead for the Ashanti Region third division league.
The club is owned and financed by former Ghana international and Asante Kotoko SC striker Kwadwo Poku popularly known as ‘Mahala’.
Mahala Football Academy is just 3-years old but has a rich history. In it’s maiden campaign in the Ashanti Region Division 3 league, excelled high to book a middle league slot and asuch continued to defile all odds for qualification to second-tier league.
Yet another history. The must talked about outfit and fast-growing club once again exhibited stupendous performance to finish as best-runner up from the Zonal championship to qualify for another middle league in its first-ever season in the Division.
Guess what? The Academy lads lost just twice and won 10 times in 17 league matches to grab qualification ticket for middle league.
An enviable success of playing in the final was harvested despite losing opener to Benab FC to recover and amass wins over Jachie United and KSI Academicals. Settled down with PAC Academy but unfortunately lost 2-0 to the Offinso based outfit, after conceding twice in the first half.
The team is managed by former Asante Kotoko SC defender Emmanuel Nkrumah and assisted by Franky as well as former Asante Kotoko SC shot-stopper Nii Baah.
