The Our Lady of Grace School field in Kumasi will on Friday host the much-awaited club friendly between Soccer4Souls FC and Mahala Football Academy as the two teams seek to undo each other ahead of new season.
Mahala Football Academy are in search for their first away win after falling short to the Full Potential mini tournament and losing by a goal margin, 1-0 to Asante Kotoko SC last week.
The 2021-22 Ashanti Regional Division Three League champions lost by a lone goal to the Ghana Premier League giant’s Asante Kotoko SC at the Adako Jachie Training complex and will be aiming at a scalp over lower-tier side Soccer4Souls to boast their morale heading into a new campaign.
Mahala Football Academy, despite exhibiting high level of performance in their last club friendly are expected to improve on their finishes when they lock horns with Soccer4Souls FC, having failed to score against Asante Kotoko SC.
The technical team will be using their new signings in this game to assess them, ahead of the upcoming 2022-23 Ashanti Regional Football Division Two League.
The match will be played at the Our Lady of Grace School field in Kumasi on Friday, October 28, 2022.
Kick-off is at exactly 6:30 AM.
Meanwhile, the new football league season is expected to commence in the first week of December, 2022.
