Mahala Football Academy returns to field after honouring a stand-by in Ashanti Regional Division Two League

Mahala Football Academy resumed training for our league game early this week from a week break off the ongoing league.

The team begun training on Tuesday, February 01, 2023 at the Ash-Town astro turf to sharpen their tools for last game of first round. The team went on standby in the ongoing 2022-23 Ashanti Regional Division Two League having gone 7 straight league matches.

We are ready for our last clash of the first round before a break on the league.

Coach Emmanuel Nkrumah and the technical team took the playing body on drills, ball possession and some technical tuition upon their return on the pitch. Going into our weekend clash, the team has received morale bolster with the return of skipper Prince Osei who suffered minor injury and missed league our game against Afigya Barcelona which we drew 3-3.

Daniel Owusu Boakye (Alonso) who felt uncomfortable before start of seaon with waist pain is back and has joined the team training.

Mahala Football Academy returns to the pitch this weekend with game against Sporting Time with target set on amassing all points considering how hot the league table has become.

The Academy lads sit behind Longford FC and PAC Academy with 12 points going into the last fixture of the first round.

Encounter is slated for Armed forces Park on Sunday afternoon.
