Mahala Football Academy will be looking to return to winning ways following a goalless draw against Sampdoria FC last week. They come up against struggling Sporting Time on Sunday, December 7 2023.
The Academy lads in their last two matches, have managed just two points having failed to pick a win. Coach Eric Owusu Ansah’s side rallied from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Natcosta FC in week 5 fixture and continued to exhibit high standard of football against Sampdoria FC as they settled for a zero all draw in week 6 clash.
Mahala Football Academy will be striving to annex all maximum points and ensure they return to winning ways on Sunday when they host Sporting Time in Zone Three and possibly end the first round on a good note.
Sporting Time on the other hand, will try to escape the relegation zone with a victory, after their 2-2 draw against Kharis Academy.
The points difference between them is only 3 points.
However, Mahala Football Academy sit 4th on the log with 8 points.
A win for Mahala Football Academy over Sporting Time will mark their third victory of the campaign having drawn twice and won two already.
Game time is 9:00am on Sunday at the Bantama Astroturf.
