“We have no option than to beat Jachie United” – Midfielder Isaac Asumadu

Ghanaian young midfielder, Isaac Asumadu has aimed scalp over Jachie United in the ongoing 2022-23 Ashanti Region Division Two Promotional tournament. The newbabies of the division two league will square off with Jachie United on Monday in our second middle league game.

Mahala Football Academy lost first match to Benab FC in a narrow 1-0 defeat last Friday despite an impressive show.

With two matches remaining, the Academy lads would have to avoid a defeat starting from Jachie United clash. Speaking to in an interview ahead of the encounter Man-Of-The-Match in our clash with Benab FC Isaac Asumadu says Mahala Football Academy did not deserve a defeat against Benab FC, however, must humble Jachie United for good.

Insisting, the team has no excuse than inflict defeat on their opponent.

“We shouldn’t have lost against Benab FC, infact we didn’t deserve losing because we played more of the ball, possessed, created many chances which should have scored. Our attackers, though didn’t fail us but they will need to be clinical”

“Again, we were not shooting especially in the first half but I also think the red card caused our defeat. We lost it all after the red card [Osman Salifu].

Speaking on the next game against Jachie United tomorrow, the dynamic attacking midfielder said; “We have to win our next game against Jachie United”

“We don’t have any excuse, we will win that game, For sure!

“The team will go all out for the maximum win by all cost”

Jachie United won their opener after coming from behind to beat KSI Academicals in a five-goal thriller.

The fixture for our game is Monday, May 1st 2023 at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium with time slated for 2:00 pm local time.
