‘Chief tormentor’ Kelvin Danso was a delight to watch on Sunday when Mahala Football Academy entertained Sporting Time in the last fixture of 2023-24 Ashanti Regional Division Two League first round. The wideman exhibited high level of wonderful football to propel his outfit, Mahala Football Academy secure an enigmatic 3-0 victory.
Danso who enjoys operating from the left but capable of switching to the other side, was adjudged Man Of The Match (MoTM) following his brilliant performance in the game.
Though, he failed to get unto the scoresheet but made his presence felt as he continuously opened the defence of Sporting Time ab exposed them to his teammates.
He assisted the second goal which was scored by Owusu Ansah Richard in the 27th minute.
His performance especially in the second half was excellent to convince the officials of awarding him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
The award marks Danso’s first of the ongoing 2023-24 Ashanti Regional Division Two League campaign.
